Privacy Policy

AFK Minecraft is a hosted service that keeps your Minecraft account online while you're away. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect when you use it, why we collect it, and the choices you have.

By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

A. Account Data

When you sign in (for example, with Google), we store the profile information needed to run your account: email address, display name, and avatar.

When you sign in with Discord, we receive your Discord email address (which must be verified), your Discord username, and your avatar. We then try to add you to our Discord server.

B. Minecraft and Service Data

To run bots on your behalf we store the details you provide, which may include:

• Minecraft username
• Server addresses you connect to
• Authentication tokens for linked Minecraft accounts, stored so your account can sign in to Minecraft for you
• Proxy connection details (host, port, and proxy credentials) if you configure a proxy
• Your Discord user ID and username, if you sign in with or link a Discord account

C. Payment and Donation Data

Paid subscriptions are processed by Creem; we never see or store your card details — only your subscription status. Tips sent through Ko-fi are shared with us by Ko-fi and may include your name, email address, message, and amount.

D. Usage Data

We may also collect information on how the Service is accessed and used ("Usage Data"). This Usage Data may include information such as your computer's Internet Protocol address (e.g. IP address), browser type, browser version, the pages of our Service that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages, unique device identifiers and other diagnostic data.

AFK Minecraft uses the collected data for the following purposes:

• To provide and maintain our Service
• To notify you about changes to our Service
• To allow you to participate in interactive features of our Service when you choose to do so
• To provide customer support
• To analyze usage so we can improve the Service
• To monitor the usage of our Service
• To detect, prevent and address technical issues

We will retain your Personal Data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. We will retain and use your Personal Data to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations (for example, if we are required to retain your data to comply with applicable laws), resolve disputes, and enforce our legal agreements and policies.

Bot activity logs (session uptime and runtime events shown in the Activity tab and admin tools) are kept for 7 days and then deleted automatically. This does not affect your account, bot settings, or billing records.

Your information, including Personal Data, may be transferred to — and maintained on — computers located outside of your state, province, country or other governmental jurisdiction where the data protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction. By using the Service, you consent to this transfer.

We may disclose your Personal Data in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to:

• To comply with a legal obligation
• To protect and defend the rights or property of AFK Minecraft
• To prevent or investigate possible wrongdoing in connection with the Service
• To protect the personal safety of users of the Service or the public
• To protect against legal liability

We use a small number of third-party providers to run the Service: Google (account sign-in), Discord (sign-in and optional account link), Microsoft and Xbox Live (Minecraft account authentication), Creem (payment processing), and Ko-fi (donations), along with the hosting providers that run our infrastructure.

These providers only receive the data needed to perform their function, and may not use it for any other purpose.

We do not currently use third-party analytics services. If that changes, we will update this policy.

Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 13 ("Children"). We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 13. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your Child has provided us with Personal Data, please contact us. If we become aware that we have collected Personal Data from children without verification of parental consent, we take steps to remove that information from our servers.

You can delete individual bots — along with their stored credentials, proxy settings, and authentication tokens — at any time from the dashboard. To request deletion of your account and the data tied to it, contact us at the address below.
